The orphanage!

Things have definitely picked up here in South Africa. Hopefully you are on our emailing list and were able to read about all the details. I just wanted to take a few minutes to post some pictures of our trip to the orphanage. Everyone was really excited about going, and the kids rushed up to the fence as soon as they saw our cars! They were so cute as they put their hands through the holes just to touch ours. The interns of course knew exactly what to do and immediately ran to the children they have played with every week. It was great to observe them and watch their personalities shine! The kids were having a blast running around the playground and even using people as their personal climbing toy! Throughout the two hours we had a time of praise and worship, a lesson with a skit, craft time, and games! It was a joy to say the least. Here are a few pictures of the afternoon. It was sunny on Friday, so we weren't too bundled up. In case you haven't heard, tonight it is supposed to get down to 15F, soo cold!

Hi guys!!! It's such a rush to work with children and observe their characteristics and behavior. The two of you have so much compassion and intellect to share with these kids. Is there a language barrier? I do know that children understand the gester of love and caring. I miss you two very much and love you even more!!! Dad
